With close to 25 years of experience as a social worker in a broad range of settings, my intention and focus are to:
Promote the importance of quality clinical supervision
Strive for best practice for our clients, families and communities
Support my colleagues for longevity and fulfilment in their careers
Promote and role model cultural humility
Raise the professional identity of social workers
Share resources and networking opportunities
For those of us that work in the broad field of human services, the settings and interventions can vary immensely, but the common thread is that as social workers we are privy to the stories of others.......

The stories we witness and listen to ..... create a richness of experience that at times becomes a part of us ....... simply through the work that we do.
These cumulative stories can change our world view.......hence why protecting our ourselves, our practice and our professional identity must be paramount.

Ongoing reflection, education and training, along with understanding our practice framework are crucial elements for ethical, sustainable and beneficial outcomes for ourselves and those we work alongside.
The benefits of clinical supervision are diverse and organisations are now legislated to implement 'controls' to manage psycho-social hazards for employees. Quality clinical supervision is one example of 'controls' utilised .
